The octopus moves in a fascinating way: the head sends only a direction, and its eight legs respond to the environment automatically. Can a building's fabric live and react to its surroundings in the same way?
Overview
This project studies the behaviour and characteristics of the octopus and experiments with a foldable facade made from paper, a reusable and recyclable material, unfolding the possibilities of a movable skin that responds to its environment.
